Brooklyn Pizza Branding & Storefront

Family-run pizza business - Brooklyn Pizza wanted to revamp their brand and storefront to encourage more customers to come. Focusing on fun and creativity, this project aimed to bring a fresh perspective to the traditional pizza experience and stand out in a very competitive area in the food industry. Particularly in Brooklyn!

Logo
Inspired by a traditional pizza oven, but simplified to make it easily scalable and a cartoon style to appeal to a younger demographic.

Colours
Red and white are common colours used within the food industry, and also two of the main colours of the Italian flag. The burgundy is used in replacement of a black, to soften the palette but provide enough contrast against the red and white.

Branding
The repeating logo pattern is featured heavily on packing so when customers are on the move, they have the recognisable packaging as they're walking down the street. The loud approach is on purpose to catch attention and stand out from other pizza branches across the city. Merchandise can also be purchased such as t-shirts in the brand colours, but nothing overly brash that it becomes unwearable day to day.
